$200 – $300 Range

For under $300, Vizio P50-C1 is a top contender that offers impeccable sound quality for those seeking the best bang for their buck. Sporting 50W of power, Dolby and DTS Digital, Vizio has provided shoppers with an affordable and powerful package. For all budgets. If you have more to spend than this range, check out Yamaha YAS106BL which offers more sophisticated features like Dolby Atmos and Alexa integration. If you want to go all out on your soundbar purchase, take a look at Sony HT-Z9F; it has everything you could ask for in a package including 4K HDR compatibility! The downside? It can be pricey, retailing for over $2000.

Best soundbars for 2022 are usually found in one of three ranges: under $200, under $300, or over $1000. There are plenty of options available no matter what your budget may be. In fact, there are plenty of different categories for different price points. From under $200 to over $3000, there’s something for everyone! If you’re looking for the best deal in terms of money spent vs. quality received, we recommend opting for a cheaper model that still has high ratings.

That way, if your cheap model turns out not to work well after all, you haven’t wasted too much money on something that won’t satisfy your needs. Higher priced models often offer more complex features such as Dolby Atmos, built-in subwoofers, touchscreens and Bluetooth connectivity. Some people find these features worth the extra cost while others don’t think they justify spending thousands of dollars on a single speaker system. Everyone’s preferences will vary so it’s important to make sure you get the right soundbar for your specific needs before making any purchases.

Over $800

The Sennheiser Momentum is the best soundbar on our list and in the world. While pricey, it offers advanced features and some of the best sound quality that you can find. One major downside to this device is that it isn’t 4K enabled and therefore won’t work with newer televisions that offer Ultra HD. It also has a limited number of ports and inputs, so compatibility may be an issue if you have a lot of devices hooked up to your TV. Despite these limitations, this soundbar still offers one of the best sounding systems available.

If you’re willing to pay more and are looking for pure audio quality without any frills, then this might be the perfect soundbar for you. Less than $800: Coming in at just under $500, the Vizio SB3821-C6 is our second favorite pick because it offers many of the same benefits as models that cost much more. The Vizio SB3821-C6 has decent bass response (especially for its price), supports Dolby Digital decoding, and comes with a remote control. We don’t love the design or lack of HDR support, but overall this is a great choice for those who want a good soundbar at an affordable price.

This is not the only model we like in this category though! For less than $300, Sony’s HTCT390 will do everything you need it to do and does not skimp on design either. With Bluetooth capability, HDMI input, and powerful speakers inside, there’s no question why this was our budget pick for 2020. Though they could stand to be louder, they offer excellent build quality and tons of inputs.
