Loki Season 2
The first season of Marvel’s Loki ended with many questions. What will happen to Odin? How will Loki fill the void in his life after he dropped the Tesseract? Will the Avengers come to Loki’s aid if he needs them? Unfortunately, we don’t know any answers to these questions just yet, but here are five reasons why you should be excited about season 2 of Loki.
1) The Plot
Loki season 2 is coming this fall, and we have a feeling it will be one of the best Marvel series yet. From Tom Hiddleston’s flawless performance as Loki, to the nail-biting cliffhangers that leave you wanting more, there are tons of reasons why you should be excited. Whether you want Loki to redeem himself or just can’t get enough of him–here are five reasons we’re stoked for Loki season two. Loki season 2 is coming this fall, and we have a feeling it will be one of the best Marvel series yet. The second installment in the Thor saga has all the suspenseful action, shocking twists, and fascinating performances we loved in Loki season 1. From Tom Hiddleston’s flawless performance as Loki, to the nail-biting cliffhangers that leave you wanting more; there are tons of reasons why you should be excited.
2) Thor and The Hulk
One of the reasons why you should be excited about Loki season 2 is because of Thor and The Hulk. It’s been confirmed that both actors will be returning for the new season, but this time with completely different roles. We know Chris Hemsworth will have a smaller role in the show since he’ll be busy shooting Avengers 4 next year. However, Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk character will take on a leading role as we find out more about his relationship with Loki. Fans are also thrilled that Jaimie Alexander is set to return as Lady Sif. Her contract was only supposed to cover one season so it was never clear if she would come back for Loki Season 2. But fortunately, she signed up again and will play an important part in the second season as well. The release date has not yet been announced but filming is scheduled to start at the end of March 2019.
3) Asgardian Cameos
Expect the unexpected with this show. There will be a lot of surprises with Loki season 2, and maybe even some new information about what happened after the battle in Asgard. One thing we do know is that this season will have an overwhelming number of asgardian cameos, as seen in Thor: Ragnarok. These glimpses into asgardian life will help us understand these different characters better, and get a sense of what living on Asgard is like. Loki’s relationship with Odin: In Loki season 1, we saw Loki take his rightful place as King of Asgard. However, there was one scene where he seemed especially bitter towards his father. Fans are theorizing that Loki may finally admit how he really feels in Loki season 2
4) Smaller Roles
Although the show’s creator, Dan Aloni has hinted that the show may not have a large cast of characters, there are still plenty of roles left to be filled. All we know so far is that several young actors have been cast, who could be playing Young Loki, Thor, Frigga and Odin – but anything is possible. Check out 5 Reasons To Be Excited For LOKI SEASON 2!
Loki season 2 casts have also been announced on Twitter by FanBolt , with Spanish YouTuber Miriam Pedregosa taking on the role of Heimdall, while Claudia Kim will play Lady Sif in episode 1. Meanwhile, Marci Tovey will play King Balder in Episode 4, while Evan Sabba and Jonathan Howard-Smith will star as Tyr and Hogni respectively. The release date for Loki season 2 is scheduled for September 6th 2019.
5) What We Don’t Know Yet
The release date for Loki season 2 is still a mystery, and the cast is relatively unknown. However, there are a few things we do know. While we’re waiting to learn more about what’s in store for our favorite Norse god, here are five reasons why you should be excited! The cast has been expanded to include bigger stars such as Sela Ward and Frances Fisher.
Loki season 2 will premiere on April 10th, 2017. As of right now, there is no release date set for season 3 but it will air sometime in 2018. Stay tuned to find out more information on the cast and release dates!
