How to watch the Marvel movies in order

It’s becoming a tremendous endeavor to figure out how to view the Marvel movies on chronological sequence. This Marvel Cinematic Universe storyline is getting more complicated with each new movie or TV program that Marvel Studios publishes, making it harder for fans to understand where each tale fits into the studio’s overall plan.

It will only get harder to keep pace of everything as additional Marvel movies plus Disney Plus episodes are planned for release in 2022 and beyond. How many Marvel movies are there, and how should they be watched?

The MCU now has 28 theatrical releases. Iron Man, released in 2008, served as the franchise’s launchpad, and Doctor Strange with in Multiverse of Madness, released in May 2022, serves as its bookend.

Even by end of 2022, that number is anticipated to reach 30. There will be 33 movies available when the entire Marvel Phase 4 movie slate debuts, several of which are already listed in our top superhero movies guide. That is, unless Phase 4 also sees the release of Blade, Fantastic Four, as Well as the Thunderbolts, in which case the total will increase to 36. Therefore, the question of what order to see the Marvel movies together will only get more difficult to answer.

How to view the Marvel films in sequence of release

We thus tried our research with the information at our disposal.

Since Avengers: Endgame, the Marvel TV series have also been taken into consideration, thus we have also included them. Thus, this post is no longer strictly about the Marvel movies in sequence, but wants must, eh?

Both series actually occur prior Spider-Man- Far From Home since WandaVision actually occurs a few weeks after Avengers: Endgame and The Falcon as well as the Winter Soldier takes place six months after Endgame. We recommend viewing Loki after Avengers: Endgame because it is actually place following 2012’s The Avengers but in a different timeline.

What If…?, the first animated series in the MCU, is like Loki. Since it is situated in a larger multiverse, it revolves around things that have happened on both large and tiny screens. What is the best order to see the Marvel movies?

How should you see the Marvel movies on sequence is a perennial debate. While some people like to watch the Marvel timeline unfold in chronological order, purists would argue that the sequence determined by release dates is the best.

Our judgement? The easiest approach to binge watch all of the Marvel movies is to watch them in the sequence of their release. Sure, chronological sequence is a fantastic option and one devoted fans may want to attempt, but from the perspective of the MCU timeline, it can still feel a little disorganized.

When Captain America awakens in modern-day New York, the conclusion of his WWII-set narrative nonetheless plays out from the late 2000s. How to orderly watch the Marvel films on Disney Plus

Disney Plus allows you to view the Marvel movies on sequence, but some of them have a small catch. With the exception of The Incredible Hulk plus a few Spider-Man flicks, every MCU movie is accessible on the streaming service. In spite of their connections to the MCU, they aren’t legally a member of a Marvel Studios group since Universal and Sony hold the distributorship to them.
